N5 AT A GLANCE
1. What is the N5 Movement?
The N5 Movement was birthed on 7 July 2021 after founder Bernard Lim was prompted to study Nehemiah 5 - the moment when rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls stalled because of crippling debt and injustice.
Just as Nehemiah called God’s people to stop exploiting one another so the work could continue, N5 exists to help the Church “rebuild the walls” today by restoring biblical stewardship of money, wealth & legacy.
Since its launch, N5 has grown from a Zoom gathering into a year-round network of believers, churches and marketplace leaders who:
1. Learn Scripture-rooted financial principles to build wealth free of debt
2. Live them out at home, work and church
3. Leverage wealth to advance the Gospel

2. What is the N5 Conference?
The N5 Conference (N5C) is the movement’s annual regional summit where Christians gather to:
1. Rediscover Kingdom economics through keynote teaching, panels & workshops
2. Build community with like-minded stewards across churches and industries
3. Give generously—every year the conference raises offerings for ministries at home and abroad
It’s a high-impact, two-day event combining Deep-dive training for advisors to become certified Kingdom Stewardship facilitators and offers Practical workshops and inspiration for the public to steward their resources with faith and excellence.
Past impact:
2021 - 1,000+ online attendees, 30+ speakers - S$60,000 fundsraised for YWAM Tamar Village & Safe Place
2022 - Regional hybrid, SG + MY + ID + PH -S$45,000 raised for 3 regional charities
2023 - First in-person “Financial Planners Only” track - Commissioned 100+ Christian advisors
3. What happened at the N5 × Salt&Light Gathering (Apr 2025)?
In April 2025, N5 partnered with Salt&Light to host a one-day industry gathering for Christian Financial Planners:
Almost 300 financial planners gathered for worship, teaching and industry-wide prayer, laying the groundwork for a wider public track in September 2025.
Highlights included sharing on integrity, excellence, and Psalm 24’s call for “clean hands and pure hearts” in finance and Hands-on Q&As showing how to blend industry best practices with uncompromised Biblical truth.
The event became the launch-pad for 2025’s two-day conference, expanding the vision from industry-specific to the wider Body of Christ.
4. What is N5 Conference 2025 – “Your Kingdom Come” about?
Day 1 – Thursday 25 Sept (Financial Planners-Only Track)
- Be empowered by insightful, real-world experiences shared by financial planning professionals and ministry leaders, each offering practical, industry-focused guidance.
- Designed exclusively for Christian Financial Planners and Insurance Practitioners
Day 2 – Friday 26 Sept (Non-Financial Planners Track)
- Be inspired and moved by compelling testimonies and stories from individuals, couples, and marketplace leaders as they share their personal and professional journeys of stewardship.
- Open to all believers – singles, couples, families, pastors, ministry members.
5. Who Organises N5?
N5 Conference is entirely grassroots. A cross-functional volunteer team of Christian professionals, composed of financial planners, pastors, creatives, and administrators, quietly steward N5 under the leadership of Bernard Lim.
Marketplace allies such as SG500, Agathos, Faith Driven Investor/Entrepreneur and Salt&Light add reach, content and other resources.
