Val is grateful to have grown up in a godly family that modelled a rich legacy of faith, generosity, and purposeful living. Her mother’s graceful presence, whether in the marketplace, the church, or at home, became a living curriculum of intentional influence. From an early age, Val was taught not just to give, but to understand the deeper heart of generosity and the kingdom principle of stewardship.

At her core, she is driven by a belief that capital, whether financial, relational, or social, should serve people. She is passionate about stewarding resources with intention, investing them into ventures, communities, and conversations that advance human flourishing. For her, transformation isn’t abstract; it’s communal, sustainable, and rooted in purpose.

Val doesn't believe it is enough to just build bridges. She believes we need to help people see why the bridge matters.

It’s hard to put Val into a box. She finished her eMBA from MIT but has previously spent her career in law, management consulting and corporate finance.
