Steven Cheong spent 15 years in investment banking before joining a startup during the dot com boom. His last job was with ST Engineering Ltd where he headed the mergers & acquisitions department.

He previously sat on the advisory board of Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Business & Accounting until he retired.

He took early retirement in 2016 to devote his life to ministry and personal interests. He graduated from Tung Ling Bible School’s school of ministry and school of leadership and was recruited to teach financial stewardship in Tung Ling Bible School for a season.

He is also a certified growth coach from Regent University. He has taught financial stewardship in churches, at CRU and was a speaker at N5’s inaugural conference in 2021.

He now serves as a marriage mentor and financial counsellor at Cornerstone Community Church Singapore and volunteers in a seniors program and in a reading program with primary school children with Cornerstone Community Services.
